Amy Cooper

Amy Cooper is founding Director of the Shasta Yoga Center. A Yoga teacher for 27 years, Amy received her Yoga certification from the Iyengar Yoga Institute in San Fransisco in 1986. Her interest in Yoga as a healing art led her certification in Integrative Yoga Therapy in 1990. Amy's teaching integrates her studies with BKS Iyengar, K Pattabhi Jois, TKV Deskachar and Buddhist meditation, and offers students an inspired foundation for a lifelong practice.


Cindi Lyn

Cindi Lyn is a dedicated student of hatha yoga rooted in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. She began intensive study with her teachers, Rena Dubin and Kofi Busia, in Santa Cruz in 1995. She received her teaching certificate from the Academy of Yoga and continues to blend her home practice with the wisdom and inspiration of her teachers and the teachings of daily life. Cindi emphasizes building strength and flexibility coupled with correct body alignment & breath awareness.


Jean Anderson

Jean Anderson is a certified Breema practitioner, Self-Breema Instructor and certified yoga instructor, Jean's teaching is focused on connecting to the body and breath as key to releasing disharmonizing conditioned thoughts, feelings and behaviors allowing us to become fully available to ourselves and life.


Jan Cowan

Jan Cowan has practiced and trained in Hatha Yoga since 1970, primarily within the Iyengar tradition. She has studied with well-known teachers including John Friend, Elise Browning-Miller, Judith Lasater, Mary Lou Weprin and Donald Moyer. Her current focus is on "Yoga Wellness".


Diana Stearns

Diana Stearns started her meditation practice in 1998 in the Zen tradition and now practices exclusively in the Theravadan tradition. She is currently in a meditation teacher/group facilitator training program with Noah Levine, noted teacher, counselor, and author of "Dharma Punx" and "Against the Stream." Diana facilitates the Mount Shasta Dharma Collective, a peer-led, alternative Vipassana meditation and discussion group.


Kimberly Richardson

Kimberly Richardson is the owner of Inner Space in Mount Shasta. She is a Certified Hellerwork Practitioner, Olympic Weightlifting coach, and has completed more than 600 hours of comprehensive Pilates Education. Most recently with Polestar Pilates for Post-Rehabilitation. Her technique incorporates many years of training in dance, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, Somatic Education and Circus Arts.
